I often wonder what I look like through other people's eyes.

Am I really what they say I am?

If I am so great, spiffy, awesome and wonderful; then why do I get taken for granted?

Is it so odd that I'm not the girl they think I am?

Why can't I be more than what they think of me?

Why compare me to others?

Am I supposed to fit some mold?

Am I supposed to carry around a label?

See me.

I'm right here.

I'm not going anywhere.

I will always be your cheerleader.

I will always be that shoulder you need.

I will give you my all.

I don't know how to be anything else.

I am not like the others.

I refuse to be like "them".

I can take your truth.

I can listen to your stories.

I can handle your pain.
